PennDOT Announces Upcoming New Galena Road Closure

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will be performing base repair work requiring the closure of New Galena Road between Route 152 (Limekiln Pike) and Callowhill Road.

Weather permitting, the closure will take place weekdays from Monday, September 7, through Friday, September 25, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

During the closure, motorists will be directed to follow a detour using Route 152 (Limekiln Pike/Hilltown Pike/Baringer Avenue), Hilltown Pike, and Callowhill Road.

Residents and motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, allow additional travel time, and use caution when traveling through the area.
